No, he wasn't 4 years old, he was 14. This was his first attempt at oil on canvas. I tried to encourage him to continue with his painting however, he found his niche in
photography. It is his dream to become a professional photographer. I think he has talent in both areas. Had he devoted himself to the canvas, I believe he could have produced some great pieces. But, I'm his mother, so I suppose my opinion is biased. Encourage your children to pursue their passion....even when they take a decidedly different path than what you might hope for them.
