Fremont Street - Las Vegas

The Fremont Street Experience is a must see if you go to Las Vegas. It is an incredible entertainment and gaming complex in the heart of the most exciting city on Earth. Imagine standing underneath the largest big screen on the planet watching epic scenes and beautiful images flying overhead while your heart pounds to the pulsating music of a 550,000 watt sound system. You have just experienced Viva Vision. This $70 million phenomenon has delighted visitors with larger than life animations, integrated live video feeds and synchronized music ... all delivered on a high-tech overhead canopy that extends the length of five football fields. Once the Vegas sun has set, just peer upwards to experience over 12.5 million synchronized LED modules offering crisp high resolution images and astounding special affects. It is the signature attraction of the Fremont Street Experience with free shows every single night of the year.... one every hour. We lodged at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino, the most luxurious resort on Fremont Street. Having the light show just outside, we took many videos. I was mesmerized by the technological wonders of this one-of-a-kind experience. Hope you enjoy this first video.

Please Note: I haven't been lazy about updating my blog ... I've been very sick with the flu and then pneumonia since returning from Las Vegas. I started getting sick at the airport in Atlanta on the way back. By the time I returned home, I was having chills, ached all over and had a temperature of 104. After much rest and medication, I feel somewhat normal again. Still need to regain my strength but I am much better.

This is my first attempt at writing about our trip to Las Vegas. There will be more to come once I am feeling a LOT better.

Oh my... gotta love Fremont Street. I'll never forget the "Viva Las Vegas" animation!

I'm happy that you had a great time, but sad that you ended up getting sick. Hopefully you are feeling more and more "on track" now.
