 Children Report Visions of the Virgin Mary in Fátima, Portugal (1917)In 1917, three children were herding sheep in Fátima when, according to their story, the Virgin Mary appeared to them. They claimed that she continued to appear to them on the 13th of every month, relaying messages and prophesies. Word of the visions spread, and at one point, the children were arrested. Then, on October 13, thousands reported seeing the sun spin in the sky near Fátima, which became a pilgrimage site. Two of the children died before the age of 12. What happened to the third? More... Urban Thought....I miss Vegas, too. I'd like to live there! Perhaps when I retire. Sounds like a plan to me!
Keith, if you've never been to Vegas....you should go. It's one place I think everyone should visit at least once in their life. You won't regret it.
Gattina....it has change drastically since I was there many years ago. It's like sensory overload! Over the top and breathtaking.

Erin, I agree. There are so many beautiful neon signs in Las Vegas. Many of the older signs are being restored and they plan to open a Neon Sign Museum. Glad to know they aren't destined for the neon graveyard.
After the sun sets, that's when the REAL Las Vegas shines. Great photos, Patty.
